Our Vision is...
- to
offer hope to a lost and dying world by introducing them to
the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
- to develop spiritual maturity in each individual through Bible
study, discipleship, Sunday School and classroom studies relating
to each respective level of understanding, men's & women's
ministries, fellowship and the delivery of God's Word in sermon.
- to effectively minister to the needs of each member and visitor
spiritually, emotionally, physically and socially.
- to minister boldly and productively to the youth in the area.
Using innovative contemporary strategies, it is our dream
to provide a regional teen center with safe and clean entertainment,
activities, and ministry second to none; mentoring area youth
and providing opportunities for them to minister in turn as
they mature in their relationship with Christ, thus equipping
them with the means to avoid the heartache and devastation
caused by early entanglement in a world of sin.
- to provide a safe and wholesome environment, power-packed
with fun and excitement, for children to learn about Jesus
and to instill at a very early age, the values of living a
Christ-centered life.
- to minister to the needs of our senior adults through valet
parking, activities, trips, quartets, and much T.L.C., reassuring
them of the importance of their role as a mentor through the
ministry of OASIS (Older Adults Still In Service).
- to minister to the needy of this area through the Food Pantry
and other respective benevolence ministries obeying the scripture
as it is written... "For I was hungry and you gave me
something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something
to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed
clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after
me, I was in prison and you came to visit me ... I tell you
the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these
brothers of mine, you did for me."
- to offer spiritual and emotional support for persons seeking
deliverance from life-controlling problems such as substance
abuse, addictions or unproductive lifestyles. The Safe Haven
Inspirational Program (S.H.I.P.) has proven successful in
"setting captives free" by encouraging them to allow
God to fill the void in their lives that they are so desperately
searching to satisfy.
- to construct a regional ministry complex at the junction of
Hwy. 60 and Hwy. 25 which will include a worship center, youth
and children's facilities, a food distribution center and
other structures to facilitate the furtherance of the Gospel
of Jesus Christ. Pastors Tim and Tina Russell and the congregation
at Lighthouse Christian Center encourage anyone who might
share this vision to join with us as we strive toward the
fulfillment of this dream as God has ordained.
